I was too stubborn and shy, so she did it for me, and I ended up scoring publications from Poached Pack and New Asshole just by pouting at her. I’ve been using my mom’s computer because I didn’t bring my own, which kind-of-but-not-really explains my mild hiatus. In fact, I was offered two jobs yesterday, within fifteen minutes of each other. Holy hell. I know people aren’t supposed to do things like this, but I’m already imagining ways to spend my new income (after I pay off my credit card balance, that is): This book: and a subscription [...] My backyard Sometime last week Sunday was Zoe Strauss’s yearly I-95 installation, and it was a huge success! As one of her interns, I had the joy of dedicating my entire weekend to helping her prepare. Tons of people came out despite the droves of precipitation we had, and a number of them had traveled significant distances to see it. [...] |
