At the Print Center event last Saturday, Zoe gave me an extra copy of her book to trade with another attending artist. I was too stubborn and shy, so she did it for me, and I ended up scoring publications from Poached Pack and New Asshole just by pouting at her. She also drew me a picture of Screech from Saved By the Bell with her eyes closed and signed it for me, so it’s true, I have the best supervisor ever.
While I was there, I got a text from my good friend Bobby saying he was in town. (I haven’t seen him since last July, and have now spent a grand total of six days with him despite knowing him for almost two years!) We spent the weekend skipping and eating cake and on swingsets. Hopefully he’ll be moving here in the next month or so. On Sunday afternoon we took a bus to NYC, where we split ways.

Cupcakes in New York

My mom has this red standing cabinet where she displays small bric a bracs; a number of them are presents my sister and I have given her throughout the years.
This last picture reminds me a lot of the last picture I showed in this post.
Back ago Young made some pizzas and I was totally inspired. A friend came over yesterday and we attempted to reproduce her idea, albeit a vegan version:

Helen also sent me a tiny packet of seeds from Pittsburgh.
