queer memoir: sticks & stones

Last week, I finished designing postcards for an upcoming event – Sticks & Stones, a collaboration between Philly-based First Person Arts & New York’s Queer Memoir.

Ta-da, here I am holding it!

(Hello, permanent ponytail hair.)

Here’s a closer look at the postcard design:

Anyway, this will be a great event, and if you can make it, I’ll likely be there taking photographs!

  • My cousin recommended this blog and she was totally right keep up the fantastic work!

  • Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!

  • this looks so great!

also one of your google ads just offered me a clip-on 100% human hair extension

  • I bet this event will be AMAZING. David Sedaris is one of my favorite (now well-known) public figures who shares memoirs about growing up in a big Greek family, as well as his homosexual adulthood. I would expect to be moved in this event, hopefully a balance of humbling/thought-provoking/humorous stories will be shared. :)

  • Oh, & I just realized that D.S. does not do much for you… but… still. I wish I could be there, is the point.
