My friend Zeolite bore 5+ hours of traffic to come to Philly for the weekend. On her way over, she found out that she was selected for a 2-week arts residency in Helsinki this summer! We took Hugo for a walk, and celebrated afterwards at the tapas bar Valanni.
He is so loving and playful all of the time.

We ordered drinks as soon as we sat down.
The swizzle stick in her gimlet was made of sugar crystals.
I ordered a vegetarian paella, which came in an enormous portion. More than half of it is sitting in my fridge.
Zeolite’s small plates. I think she ordered a chickpea & chorizo one, oysters, and brussel sprouts.

You and Hugo match a little actually, such an adorable boxer (boxer? what species is Hugo actually?) Goodness that Paella looks good, but i’ve never seen it come in such a large portion…
I guess you’re gonna love the fact that you took away more than half when hunger strikes after 10pm
Unless of course you have discipline (unlike meee) and not eat in the evening!
i know, our hair/fur is really close in color. i’m guessing he’s a boxer pit? i’m not entirely sure. i ate as much of the paella as i could handle, and scarfed up the rest of it for breakfast the following day!
