laundry basket

My camera’s memory card has felt like a deeply neglected laundry basket. Overflowing, and the further I dig back, the less and less I remember what’s in there. I won’t even tell you how old some of these pictures are, I was never a dates and number person anyway, just know that these are some snippets from my life as 2011 turned into 2012.

An out of town visitor named Merlin.

He was as curious as he was well-behaved.

Some friends and I went to a flea market one afternoon. No treasures were found, but there was quality people-watching to be had as well as a movie playing in the women’s restroom. And this pony comb.
I met some other visitors from out of town. Here’s Maya.

Eryk.

We were at Beau Monde for dinner and drinks the night before they left.

Turned my head for a second and saw that a fiery crepe was being brought to our table!

Cristin.

Zoe Strauss turned the Philadelphia Museum of Art into a dance party on the opening night of her solo exhibition. (I was her intern three years ago!) ?uestlove DJed.

One of the few snowy nights we’ve had this “winter,” Dan and I went to Zahav, where I ate the best hummus I’ve ever had.

No clue why I look so down. Maybe because I finished all the hummus?
