She has an Etsy store, too. [...] Last week, I finished designing postcards for an upcoming event – Sticks & Stones, a collaboration between Philly-based First Person Arts & New York’s Queer Memoir. Ta-da, here I am holding it! (Hello, permanent ponytail hair.) I can’t believe it was already two and a half months ago, but looking at these pictures confirms its distance.
[...] This was our last week of classes, so yesterday (Friday) we celebrated. First, I helped Mia shave a shooting star into her head. Everybody was sitting outside once the last classes got out. Some of my friends were playing with a motorbike. Then we went to a barbecue/block party! Afterwards, we went to [...] I went into the gallery after the opening and took some better pictures of our show. Here goes! [...] Arden and my opening was Friday night. Thanks to Amina and my sister Sujean for dutifully taking photos the entire night. The following people also helped us tremendously in putting the show together: Pipo Nguyen-duy Pat Ellis Eunjoo Yoon Logan Wood Richard Wood Ed Fuquay Asa Ivry-Block Lauren Barrett Alex Voigt Joey Dejesus [...] Last week, Arden and I found out that it’ll cost us about $300 to paint the floor of the gallery, so yesterday we held a bake sale for approximately 30 minutes to help us raise funds. Our grand total? $7.76.
