On Day 4 we left Montréal for the Eastern Townships, a region in scenic southern Quebec. We stayed in Magog, right on Lake Memphrémagog. It’s about 20 miles from the US-Canada border and is situated among mountains, rolling hills, vineyards, and lakes. The traffic lights on the main street of Magog play classical music. I scrambled to take photos of our Montréal apartment as we were checking out. Putting things off to the last second, literally, is an unfortunate forté of mine. Expired film is like throwing a curve ball straight into your material.
