I spent the better half of a recent Sunday afternoon poring over the sixth issue of Elephant Magazine. One of the featured artists is Nomoco, whose pieces manage to be emotive and whimsical. (And beautiful, of course!) Skill aside, I’m also drawn to these because she repeatedly incorporates my favorite shades of blue and green. [...] I came across the jewelry shop MIRTA on Etsy this morning. These handmade pieces are formed with extraordinarily simple and minimal shapes. Yep, pretty much in love with all of them. Once again, MIRTA jewelry. [...] This weekend was the Art Star Craft Bazaar. My friends and I went bright and early on Saturday morning, in spite of the rain. To our enthusiasm, the vendors’ booths seemed endless, and it was inspiring to see so many kinds of creative capabilities.
